It is ironic to read all the time how white corruptors have enduced a baboon black leader into deceiving his own people. What befuddles me is the fact that you will never read the other way around. If one wonders why the dominant white world thinks that the black race leaders are incompetent? No need to be more explicit than showing how white will easily seduce a baboon leader into corruption then will try to cover it up as if he had nothing to do with it.

The white man is right, he did not have anything to do with it. Because if you look around you, what do you see? Black countries are the poorest, the most unstable economically, politically and socially. What more must this white man prove? When we black men cannot see further than the “extremities of our nose”. Can we not see that our selfish views have repercussions on every single black man living in this planet. We deceive and rob the same people that we suppose to protect. This demonstrates our lack of respect for our own kind and our lack of love for our children. Because our actions reflect upon our own kind and our children suffer with the stigma of black incompentence.

It’s always interesting to me how Komisar’s legal “gobblety gook” always appears just as there is any real headway towards understanding the scope of human rights abuses after Feb. 2004. It’s not the first time and given her close relationship to Carney and the Haiti Democracy Project crowd, I’m sure it won’t be the last. In reading her you have to try not to suffocate on all the smoke she generates while trying to convince us there is a real fire.

Il existe un moyen de resoudre ce probleme une fois pour toute. La solution depend d’abord de la volonte du gouvernememnt de l’appliquer. Ensuite de celui qui sera charge de la mise en oeuvre. Je veux parler de sa capacite intellectuelle et technique. Ses connaissances du systeme mondial des Telecommunications et ses contacts personnels compteront pour une large mesure et seront predominantes. Enfin, que la personne en charge soit un “patriote” et n’attende aucune retombee financiere quelconque…..

Any stupid would know that Haiti is a country that has been left behind, because of our determination to survive.

There will be no other man in this earth like Aristide, because he has the ability to open his people’s eyes, therefore no imperialism would like him. One thing for sure, we haitians will fight until the last breath.

You are absolutely correct in this article. Mary Anastasia O’Grady, Wall Street Journal, has been writing periodic accounts of this scandal. As a Haitian living in Haiti, I am scandalized at the continued graft and corruption of former elected American officials, whether they be Republicans or Democrats. During Aristide’s “reign”, he was quite generous with all the members of the “Black Caucus” and their Democratic friends.

I hope that this case makes an adequate scandal as to force IDT to back down and settle. It is also crucial that an example be set for the Haitians that being elected in Haiti does not make you a millionaire. We need a strong example which will force our politicians to think. We, the Haitian people, are sick and tired of being economically raped by our officials as well as by “our friends”.
