Speaking as the husband, there are essential details missing from Lynn’s story. Regarding the “woman” who got between me and her, she was a miserable disfellowshipped Jehovah’s Witness, and I was only trying to help, I guess Larry David style. And my family went along with it, for we all loved the little boy. As for her green card, that was a scam, and I needed to protect us from the Fed’s fury, and kept quiet about it as we all did. The complications began when she got involved with our Mexican plumber, and sued me, and the flood gates opened up.

I hold no animosity towards Lynn, but she did not need to kick me out of my home and try to impoverish me with the aid of a sympathetic Hollywood judge and a bunch of lawyers! The real shocking story here is the corruption in the Los Angeles Family Court system which allowed her revenge, and which I looked to for fair resolution.

If anyone is interested, they can look at my website, http://www.johnclarkprose.com/ which is a legal blawg, for the correct information, or my entry in Wikipedia which is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Clark_(actor/director).

Lynn remains silent off stage, and avoids discussion of these matters. What she tells here is an acceptable woman’s story. I’m thinking of doing my own, from a man’s point of view – call it "Canary"? What hurts is I don’t get asked. I’ve never been contacted by the press, and, of course, Lynn continues to pitch her POV, celebrity power at its most shameless. I hope she works things out on stage, where she always belonged, but coping with life off stage? That was never easy for her.
